"This recipe is  good for those who bored of eating  the regular  chicken curry made in homes, and want to add some variety in the meals.Its delicious as side dish with dal and rice, roti, bread family love this dish especially with dal and rice...this recipe is originally made by mom while experimenting with chicken gravy .. as we all bored eating the regular ones and it comes with great refreshing flavorful and delicious taste.which is must to add on in your menus . For green masala

1/2 bunch Green Coriander
1/2 bunch mint leaves
7-10 stalks of curry leaves
5-10   green chillies
1 small piece ginger
5-6   garlic cloves
Salt to taste

For chutney chicken

500 g  Chicken
1 tsp  Turmeric
2 tbsp oil
1 cup  curd
Salt to taste


  • For green masala, grind the green coriander,mint leaves,green chillies,ginger,garlic cloves, curry leaves and salt in a grinder , until smooth paste.
  • Now in a kadai(saucepan) , add chicken , curd, turmeric,salt and the green chutney masala and mix well , leave it to marinate for about 1-2 hours. 
  • Then, add oil and mix well and put the kadai on gas stove in medium flame and cook till the water is evaporated and the oil leaves the sides.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and serve hot with rotis(flatbread), bread,rice etc.
